Booked a room for a night so we could go and see the Nick Park exhibit at the Harris building in Preston. We had the premiere plus room which was very nice. The hotel was very quiet in the night. Went for the breakfast which was very nice and the waiting onstaff were absolutely amazing and chef was so good at making the breakfast all on her own. We very much enjoyed are stay at Premier inn Preston south.
Have stayed in a number of Premier Inn for work and this is one of the best. It has been beautifully refurbished with lovely rooms and reception/breakfast area. Handily located near Preston with two pubs, a Burger King and big Sainsburys right next door. Free parking too.
We stayed as a family - parents, 5yo and 3yo on 31st Dec 2025 on our way down south. It was the perfect stop off point. Staff were really welcoming and helpful, room comfortable and the excellent cooked breakfast set us up really well for the onward drive. Stayed here overnight with my children after visiting family as drove nearly 2hours. Nice clean room, comfy bed only downside was no tea or coffee, the television didn’t have a remote and when we tried to use it manually with the buttons on the system the screen was locked so couldn’t change channel. Disappointing when travelling with two children and when I mentioned it to reception staff they just said they’d pass it onto the cleaners… But breakfast lovely and would stay here again as long as full facilities were in the room as it stated online
I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Preston South (Craven Drive) and it was easily the best experience I’ve had at a Premier Inn in a very long time. From start to finish, everything was spot on. What stood out: • Service: The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and clearly committed to making guests feel welcome. • Cleanliness: The entire hotel was immaculate. It’s rare to find a place that is this consistently clean throughout all the common areas and the rooms. • Food: The breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options to start the day. • Location: Having a fabulous pub right next door was a massive bonus for a convenient and high-quality evening meal. If you’re looking for a reliable, clean, and friendly place to stay in the Preston area, I cannot recommend this specific location enough. I’ll definitely be back!
One of the best premier inns I have been to. The room looked new and crisp. It was clean and smelt clean. The bathroom was absolutely spot on. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room got warm very quickly. The only downside is - the radiator was making clicking sounds which is annoying when you're trying to fall asleep and I could hear a conversation from another room (and their kid screaming) so maybe a bit of soundproofing wouldn't be amiss. The gentleman at the reception was absolutely amazing, proffessional, helpful and kind. Overall absolutely the best premier inn so far!
Me and my stepdad have been coming here every Thursday morning for breakfast for over a year. We can honestly say it’s the best breakfast we’ve had. Donna always cooks up a fab breakfast and Giovanna always provides the best service! Will forever recommend here for breakfast
Spent two nights here. Was delighted with the room, bathroom and overall cleanliness. The hotel was quiet which ensured a good nights sleep. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was better the second morning with items being refreshed although I could barely lift the water jug because of position and weight! The inn was easily accessed from the motorway and ideal for the local area. I would recommend and hope to stay again.
